Used 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe Consumer Reviews
Love my Crystal Blue too!
We also looked at all of the small SUV's on the market. The RAV, Vibe/Matrix, Sportage and Tracker were too small. The Highlander was too expensive. The Vue and the Liberty was rather funky looking, and more expensive than the Sante FE. And the Liberty was very hard to get into and difficult to put groceries in the back window with the tire in the way. The Escape/Tribute a little noisey and also more expensive. The CRV was rather bland looking with a tire on the back door. The Sante Fe is the right size, the right price(loaded!), the right warranty and looks great, especially in Blue!
2002 Pitts SantaFe
In my 30+ driving years nothing has psyced me up like the Santa Fe. The ride is smooth like a car, and not like a truck. The sound system is excellant.

The opposing view
I bought this vehicle after reviewing many and after feeling that "I would never buy one of those foreign pieces of crap!" The reviews from in-persons and through the computer have been incredible and I had to test drive for myself! I was EXTREMELY impressed with the handling, the standard features, the roominess, the looks and the warranty so much that after the test drive, I bought that "piece of crap!". Everyone that I've taken with me to drive or ride can't rave enough about the handling and how comfortable it is.
Nervous to Estatic
I just bought my Santa Fe with the idea of going cross country with it. I drove the Santa Fe 3100 mile through the heat, rain, mountains and sitting in traffic. I have heard alot of people complain about the horse power. The Santa Fe performed well in passing and merging and when I needed her to get up a hill she took it with out a problem. Who needs a racing SUV anyway? Overall I highly recommend this vehicle to anyone whether you are cost conscience or not. We now have 5,200 miles and she still runs like a dream. I hope she stays that way but if she doesn't there is the warranty.
Hyundai Santa Fe GLS AWD
I bought the SAnta Fe GLS AWD on April 5, 2002. I have been looking for a Great SUV that has good gas mileage and stylish. Even more important cost!! I have had no problems with the Santa Fe yetr and don't forsee any problems in the future. I have taken out the desert and to the mountains for a little off- road action. It handled AWSOME. felt like I was in a Lexus, smooth, yet rugged enough to handle everything I thru at it.
