I have got my car in July 2019 it has been in the shop about 12 times in about a year for the same ongoing issue of it idling hard and then it misfires and then shakes when driving and then automatically just shuts off with no warning when you’re going from a stop. This is just a warning I do not have very much money so if you’re expecting get a car that’s bang for your buck this isn’t it Honda only helps when they want to and then you’re left with it on your own

Great economically on monthly payment, fuel mileage, general maintenance. Very comfortable ride, road noise was minimal, and the trunk area very spacious. Met all my needs. Excellent car!! Owned for 3 years, little sad to have to let it go to get a SUV. Getting older and getting in a lower sitting car is rough on the joints!! Lol

purchased 2017 elantra se base trim new car 4 years ago. Now mileage is 50K. The car drives good. Had two issues up to now: 1) bad ignition coil; 2) side view mirror cannot move. Fortunately they are covered by the warranty. I do not hope more problems show up after warranty expires.

I like the size and turquoise color. It drives nice and has a big trunk. I dislike the clearance especially on the front. On speed bumps and little dips it scrapes. UPDATE: Low clearance for speed bumps and dips in the road. Not a winter car with snowy weather. Rear lock problems. Door won,t open. Had to replace thermostat after driving a steep winding road. Its a good car for around town .
