Used 2018 Honda Accord Sport 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6M) Consumer Reviews
If you are older buy a smoother riding car
Get a model that has 17" rims with plenty of sidewall on the tires and get a good touring tire. We bought this accord sport 2.0 and only test drove it on smooth road behind the dealership. When we took it into the real world it bounced around so much you can't even hold a cup of coffee. The noise level on concrete older roads is so loud you can't even hear the radio. Sorry we bought this model being older. Great sports car for youngins! To try and fix our mistake we spent a lot of money and bought 18" rims and a good touring tire and it calmed the ride and noise down a great deal. Don't buy the sport model with stiffer suspension and 19" rims if you have any back issues or want a smooth riding car.

fun car with some flaws
so just for background came out of 15 TLX base V6 lease to this car a 2.0t sport 6sp manual. Overall i really enjoy the car so much so that I actually just go out for a drive sometimes and can't remember the last car that I wanted to do that with. So the pros: 1.engine is full of character, sounds great, has wonderful torque. 2.handling is amazing for a car of this size and a main stream mid size sedan. 3. typical excellent honda manual tranny 4.excellent user interface for touchscreen 5. the car is legit fun to drive Cons: 1. Road noise- is loud over certain road surfaces not all - borderline unacceptable- by far far worst quality of car 2. Stereo is terrible but i added a under seat sub and is ok now 3. Little stiff but will accept for handling- Not terrible 4. little overpriced for what you get. Hope this helps. Good Luck

Moonroof and a Manual
I like to drive--more specifically I enjoy a vehicle with a manual transmission and a moonroof. That left me with limited options when I decided to purchase a new car in 2018. With manuals going the way of the dinosaur, only a handful of manufacturers offer a my desired combination in a sedan or hatch/not quite sports car. I considered the following cars: Veloster, Mazda 3, Mazda 6, Ford Focus ST, VW Golf GTI, Honda Civic Si, Honda Accord, Subaru WRX and maybe one or two others that I have since forgotten. Concerns about quality eliminated VW. Styling issues did in the Veloster and Civic. (Hey Honda, what's going on with the Civic back end?) Ride quality reports killed off the WRX. I probably would have purchased a Mazda 6 if they made it with both a moonroof and manual, but no such luck. After test drives the Accord beat out Mazda 3 and Focus ST. The Ford back seat had barely any leg room, and I want to be able to take people along with me. I have enjoyed the Accord thus far. My favorite features are the combination of 6-speed manual, moonroof, and 252 hp engine. Thank you Honda for making a spacious mid-sized sedan with a manual. I also enjoy the still night pearl color (purplish blue). Pleasantly surprising has been the ride quality (on 19inch wheels) and the fuel economy--almost 29mpg in a mix of driving. Other enjoyable details have been the button on the trunk lid that pops the trunk with key in your pocket, and I like the no-cap fuel filler better than I expected. The tech works well, and controls are easy to use. Heated front seats are a nice touch on a cold winter's day. The back seat is very spacious, and the trunk is a good size. I added auto-dimming rear-view with Homelink, which has been enjoyable. I appreciate the blind spot warning light...not the beep, but yes to the light. Like most things in life, the car has some disappointments too. I am not a fan of some of the HondaSensing safety features. Primarily annoying is that I have to turn off forward collision warning each time I turn on the car. The technology is overly sensitive, beeping at me in fairly normal (maybe a little aggressive) driving circumstances. Also, Honda requires the parking brake to be set for the car to start, which I guess is a safety feature with a manual transmission? I was not really a fan of the style of rims, but I can live with them. One of the biggest disappointments is the sound quality of the stereo system. When paying 30K for a car, I had hoped for a better sound system. If only I could trade the forward collision warning for a subwoofer. I almost forgot, one more annoyance is the key fob. More specifically, the trunk opens and panic button triggers by bumping other keys in my pocket. I have used keyless entry/push button fobs form other manufacturers without this problem...seems like a design problem. Despite the foibles, I am satisfied with the Accord. I hope Honda's reputation for quality/dependability holds true for this vehicle.

Far exceeds my high expectations
I've owned a lot of sedans, and this one is the most fun to drive, by far. Get the manual 6-speed transmission & help keep the manual legacy going!

A reliable Audi surrogate
From looks to performance, this car impresses. Engine and 10 spd transmission are very refined as is handling and ride. Excluding noise over rough pavement, this feels like a much more expensive car.
