Horrible Car!

Buying a 2009 Accord has been the worst purchase I've made in the last 20 years. Several days after bringing the car home, I started hearing a loud wind noise through the drivers side door when you drove at freeway speeds. After 5 trips to the dealership and having it be in the shop for 2 weeks, I was essentially told, I'd just have to deal with the noise. Wonderful! Then at 2000 miles the brakes have started to make a grinding noise, oh and I've noticed a vibrating sound coming from the dash (which I hit with my hand to stop), not to mention the loud clicking the CD player makes. Essentially this car is a mess, save yourself some money and go buy a Geo Metro.

We were forced into purchasing another car. We were coming out of a 2000 Nissan Maxima SE which is billed as the "family sports car" and it is. We had all the bells and whistles and we loved that car. New Maxima was out of our price range. Previously had a Honda Accord back in 1986 which we loved, kept it until 212,000 miles so that's why we went back to a Honda. Did lots of research on this purchase and for the money it seemed like we should have been thrilled; we got $6K off the sticker and have had it 5 weeks and put 5200 miles on it. We are getting 36MPG which is fantastic BUT the driver's seat and steering wheel are horribly uncomfortable. Very tough getting used to this car.
