Used 2002 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
Great choice!
I think this Accord is one of the best vehicles I have owned. It has a great ride and is very comfortable. I looked at several other cars (Acura, Toyota, and Nissan) and for the price it just couldn't be beat.
accord se coupe 2002
a sub-class between the ex and the lx, mostly the honda folks called glorified LX big and comfy seat, the seatbelt sometime lock up too quick, especailly for the taller driver, excellent visablity cockpit. good amount of storage space. the bottemline: it's better than the lx with a little more money. however i found honda's new car isn't as solidly built as honda did years ago. it's a great communter car, it's no where near fast but it's perfect for heavy city driving, good resale valve, some what cheap to maintenan and keep, good insurance price for the teenage driver.

Can't go wrong with Accord
This is my 4th Accord. All have been excellent cars, little or no problems, even with the ones I bought used. The quality of the cars have gotten better each and everytime I have bought one. The new 2004 will be my 5th Accord. I drive in excess of 30,000 miles per year, with nothing more than an oil change. You can't go wrong with the Accord
Smooth Fast Honda
This car is great, I got a great deal on it. It came with way more features than the crappy looking Camry and was far less. It's a Honda so it will be great on resale. Motor is smooth and quiet, I have the rear wing so it looks even better. Needs heated seats and an outside temperature gauge in it though, ride is good, gas mileage is ok for a 6 cyl. Toyota is way more expensive with less standard options. Can't wait for the new pilot to come out to buy one of those also. Go Honda...your products are the best. Toyota doesn't have a robot like Honda either.
The Honda Accord SE Coupe
This is one of the most fun car's to drive. It comes with Honda's reliabilty and great handling. The fuel economy on the 4 cylinder is great. The car doesn't have the nip of the V6 but still delivers reasonable performance out of the 150 HP VTEC engine. In short, it is a real sweet car for its price
Totally Satisfied...
I am totally satisfied with my 2002 V6 Accord! This is my 4th Honda and they have only gotten better. It's totally fun to drive...very stylish, very reliable ...and for a V6, it still gets descent gas mileage. I would recommend this vehicle to anybody!!
Sensible
I traded a 2000 Golf for this 2002 Accord after the Golf required major engine work at 12,000 miles. The 4-cylinder LEV engine could use a little more low-end grunt, but it's smooth and quiet. I'm only getting 22 MPG, mostly around town - maybe it'll improve with age. The car seems extremely well built and is great on trips - I feel like I'm driving a luxury car. It's roomy and comfortable for 4 adults, too. Got a great deal from Landmark Honda, with minimal aggravation. The Honda is smooth, quiet and pleasant - it might be a middle-aged person's car lacking in verve, but I feel like it'll never let me down.
Reliable and fun
The vehicle is very well built. Honda dealer is like no other auto dealer, aimed to please. The way Handa prices the vehicle the dealer cannot easily "switch & bait" the consumers. The car is very well built. Engine (V6) is quiet and smooth with deceptively good acceleration.
Good, but not perfect
In a nutshell, I leased for less than $300/month with zero down, a car that has almost everything I was looking for. V6 with decent power, leather but not ventilated or heated seats, decent CD player but not MP3, quiet but still too much wind noise. But I don't love it. I can't really explain why but it just doesn't grab me the way that my previous cars did even though it is the fastest and highest end car I've owned. Sad but true.
not worth it
Hondas are great cars and this one is too but lacks so much. If your going to purchase any accord buy the v6!!! its well worth the money
