Strike 3 for me. AC defect during 2024. Couldn’t get into dealer bec of all recalls on seatbelts. 100+ degree weather. Next gas door would not open - actuator failed. And this Aug had to be towed in for failed fuel injector. While replacing fuel injector they noticed pink coolant in one of cylinders. Waiting to hear what they found. 16,700 miles now.

Bought a used 2021 GV80 August of 2024. 78000 kilometres. Ride and handling excellent. Have had problems with electronics, not very good on fuel, which can be expected with luxury. Probably should not have purchased a first model year vehicle. The dealer in London, Ontario has been excellent.

Poor audio systems-constant frustration

We bought our car from Genesis Framingham and have had consistent issues with the audio systems. The sound quality for a "proclaimed" luxury car is inferior. Clarity and quality for the hands free phone are poor at best. Even after bringing it to the dealer both are terrible. These issues consistently have forced us to look at other options.

So my girlfriend purchased a 2022 GV80 with 43k from a dealership. Car was mint condition made the deal purchased added warranty to 150k think 5k. After we had car 3 days noticed a grinding from rear of car. Brought it back gave us a loaner perfect. Car repaired they drove our car two hours to our home in NC SO IMPRESSED. Barbara drives car to TN see daughter on the way back she’s merging onto highway through construction and she’s looking to get in and apparently two cars in front brake. She’s going maybe 25 she looks and uncertain if she hit brakes or cars braking function kicked in. She rear ended car in front causing minimal damage to other car. Barbs two small airbags deployed. GV80 Sustains which I’ll say fairly minimal damage grill hood bent and radiator. Allstate estimated about 7-8K We insisted they tow to a certified Genesis dealer. Genesis of Chattanooga Once there they don’t touch for over a week. Then we get their estimate Ready 38,000.00 yes you read correct 38K no engine damage no other body damage looked like it got hit in the parking lot So what do they do Total her car that she drove for 125 miles Never felt so screwed
