Roomy vehicle
My Windstar has given me excellent service to date. I purchased the ESP extended warrenty from Ford and have used it twice. New front wheel ABS sensor and power steering pump. Both after 50,000 miles. Every once in a while a do get a harsh shift in first gear if I come to almost a complete stop then accelerate.
Good Value for the Money
I purchased this vehicle used with 25, 708 miles on it in Oct. 2000. It now has over 69,000 miles and the only things that were replaced were the serpentine belt (@ 30,000 miles), the front brakes and both radiator hoses (@60,000 miles), and a new set of tires (@47,000 miles). All other items consist of fluid changes at the manufacturer's recommendations, with the exception of the engine oil which I change every 3000 miles. Each oil chnage I buy a complete fuel system cleaner ($5), which eliminates the need to have your fuel injectors cleaned.

1998 Windstar GL
I like to maintain my automobiles myself. I change oil, antifreeze and transmission fluid on a regular maintanence schedule. After 80,000 miles, I've had the car to a mechanic for two non-maintanence repairs. My wife drives it regularly and refused to allow me to upgrade it in 2000 when the lease was up. We have been very happy with it and find it inexpensive to own. We have been very happy with it.
Love my Windstar
Smoothest riding vehicle I've been in as far as a minivan goes. Love it!
Windstar Limited
I've put 101,000 miles on my Windstar Limited and have really enjoyed it. It has all the bells and whistles that luxury cars have and enough leather to wrap them in. It has a powerful engine that has served me well - even on last minute runs from Mass to Fla and back.
