I've waited 40 years for this...

2007 Ford Shelby GT500 2dr Coupe (5.4L 8cyl S/C 6M)

I am 53 years old and owned older Mustang muscle cars in the 60's and 70's but nothing like this car. When the TCS system is disengaged, the raw horsepower is frightening. You better be ready for what's about to happen when you step on it. It's hard to drive it and not put your foot in it every time you stop and take off again. I've never ridden on the space shuttle but I can't imagine the rush being any greater!

Best Features

I choose to order one with no stripes on top or side, and the styling without the stripes makes for an incredibly aggressive car. Mine is black on black stripe delete and looks like it will bite you just sitting in the garage!

Worst Features

Don't build any more. I want to have one of the few. I drooled over the early Shelby cars, especially 67'and 68's but couldn't afford to own the tires off of one. Now I want to be selfish and own one of the few.
