Great truck with amazing features! It doesn't have a way to play CDs but it is easy to pair your phone and use Pandora! So far the truck has been great. Comfortable and well-appointed.

sold this truck. was tired of the transmission always hunting to find a gear. 10 speeds may be fine for a car but not a truck.

Rides like on square wheels

I loved the look and power on my 2020 Ranger Lariat. I did give it a test drive prior to completing the sale, but it was the typical short, dealer tested road course. However within a few days I started to notice a vibration in the floor board and seats. I took it back to the dealer and they said it was due to the 10 speed transmission seeking shift points. I took it home and the vibration continued to get stronger and now being felt in the steering , especially between 1200 and 2400 rpms. Returned to the dealership and requested that the shop foreman ride with me and drive the truck. 20 minute test drive and he agreed that there was in fact a vibration as described. He sent an email to the Ford Technical Hotline. The engineer replied back stating and I quote “ the vibration is due to an undesirable characteristic of the vehicle”! Really? They offered no possible solutions just sorry for your luck on the purchase of your $46k truck. I have filed a complaint with the Ford Customer Satisfaction Center , but after 30 days and 3 follow-up phone calls and 6 emails I have not been contacted. Will be filing a Lemon Law complaint soon. BUYER BEWARE!

Moved from a GMC CANYON TO A FORD RANGER

I traded my 2017 Canyon for a 2020 Ranger Laredo Crew Cab with the blackout package. The Ranger is a lot more fun to drive. It holds the corners better. The supercharged 4 with the 10 speed transmission really moves out when pressed. The Ranger cab is quieter and in my opinion more luxurious. The Ranger has a better ride that is more car like. Both cabs have a learning curve to get in to. On the Canyon my knee would hit the 4 wheel knob on the dash which had a breakaway and would push in. I would have to pull it out with a screwdriver. A Not so with the Ranger. The Ranger engine shuts off at a light or in traffic to save gas and starts again when your foot is removed from the brake. This can be shut off for each trip but not permanently. It’s annoying and makes my wife nervous about whether it will start again or not. The Canyon seats have more adjustability. The Ranger has an interior tire gauge. Both trucks have heated seats but I’ll never understand why they don’t have AC seats in the top models. All in all, I’m happy I chose the Ranger and look forward to driving it everyday. Update— Still love the truck but there are two major design flaws that would have cost peanuts.....a soft open tailgate and a tray for the console box. Both of these items are available aftermarket and work fine.
