2005 Mustang GT premium
If Ford makes all future Mustangs live up to this one, you will always find me in the driver's seat of one. I fell in love with this design when I saw it unveiled in numerous magazines and auto shows. From an interior that leaves you feeling swaddled in comfort to the retro gauges that seem to smile when you take a seat and a beautiful body design, this car catches the very elements that an American muscle car should have; attitude and appeal. The car is affordable and the performance is great. Space could be better, but works for a muscle car. Gas mileage is good considering V8 power and curb weight. Overall, kudos to FMC. This car has punched its ticket in the automotive hall of fame.
This is my first and last Mustang
It is not a performance car. It is very slow at the start and feels very heavy; it has "no" traction control though they claim it has ( I wonder do they really understand what that is); driver's seat is very uncomfortable for longer rides; visibility is very poor; a heating system takes forever to clear the back window and side mirrors (and it turns itself off in just a few minutes); the AC unit stinks because the engine heats the interior greatly; the sound system is junk probably in all respects; the cup holders location is useless if you have a stick; glove compartment is a joke; and mileage (WOW) 12.5 per gallon(city and freeway) - that's a scam.Think twice.

the new mustang
The new mustang offers many options to a variety of drivers. The cars new design has a slightly retro look but still has the modern design of today's muscle cars. It rides like a dream, and has plenty of power. The car seems to handle great on any dry surface, however if you are on a wet surface the car does try to get away from you if you donot know how to handle the V8's raw power. it is a comfortable vehicle to drive and a wonder to own. i would rate it overall an 8.
Ford Mustang gt
Having the car less than a month, doesn't allow for too much experience. However, we bought the car w/ a full tank of gas, the wrong gas, so our engine light is on all the time until we refill. I don't like the trunk opening as its too small for some items. although once you get the item in, there is plenty of trunk space. I think the center console sets too high up for my liking, but otherwise fun car that we've dubbed "Fire in the Hole"
A mixed bag, but more fun than a Honda
This car was well worth the wait. It's a blast to drive, and people love to look at it. I've only had a few problems with it (mentioned below). I do wish it had more hp. I know that sounds insane, but it should have hp equal to that ugly GTO that Pontiac is making. This car is rated less than the '98 Camaro. Seven years later those cars should not be able to keep up with Ford. That said, this is way better than any Mustang ever made, even the 69. Classic car guys will disagree, but this one beats in in quality, performance, sound system, mpg, paint quality, crash tests, and driveablity. Love the car.
