The truck idles rough when in Park and when in drive with automatic shut off turned off. You cannot see it in the rpms you can feel it though. Also when driving the truck vibrates between 50-65mph because the RPMs are at 1200 and it feels like the truck needs to downshift. I have taken the truck in 4 times and get told that Ford is aware of the issue but have not put out a fix for it yet. Really disappointed in this truck since this is my first Ford. Hope they come out with a fix soon.

Rethinking of getting a Ford

I bought my 2021 F150 in April. Within a week I had issues with the door number pad. From there is has been all downhill. The Key fobs started saying no key detected, it still wouldn't detect it if I put it in the backup slot, the backup camera started going in slow motion, the transmission started to not shift, the touchscreen started being really slow in responding, and now the AC will just turn on high all by itself. It has been in the shop too many times for a new truck. Ford won't post my review because I wrote how much money the pickup cost. The shop keeps telling me that they can't duplicate the key issue but they are waiting on Ford engineers to get back to them to find a fix. Also, I have to try to drive it because the dealer just can't get it in to work on it again right now. They don't have any loaners to give out. If you get past all of these issues, it would be a really nice pickup. Lots of room and great power(V8 5.0) with great gas mileage(over 600 miles per tank at 70-85Mph). Just pray that you get it started and into gear before it says no key detected!!

Horrible seats and drivers area!!!

The most uncomfortable vehicle I have ever sat in. The pedals seem like they are too far left. The enormous center console cuts off leg room for your right leg. Shifter has broke twice already. Driver seat bottom has broke. Only 25000kms on this truck. The drivers seat causes a lot of uncomfortable feelings and pain in the right leg and hip.

I'm on my 3rd F150 and by far the best design. I have a 5.0ltr XTL 4x4 pkg built from at the Kansas City plant. There is no replacement for displacement. Great gas mileage, comfortable ride & quiet too! It handled the harsh Canadian winter with ease with the different diving modes.

Engine knock at lower RPM & Hard shifting 10-9-8

Somewhat disappointed, Sold my 2017 Eco boost 3.5L to purchase a 2021 3.5L XLT 4X4 302 A high package-driver 360 assist, all the bells and whistle for $$ 60 k. Beautiful Lead foot color!!! . Transmission Hard-shifts down from10-9-8-and sometimes 7, LOUD bang! Sounds like tranny is falling apart at times. During sudden acceleration when driving on "eco" mode, I hear engine knock? Rough idle during hot humid climate here in SW Florida. Already took back to ford at just under 5k miles, Check engine light turned on when I started hearing a rhythmic knocking sound from engine, and when driving on"SPORT" mode. Ford dealership found low engine oil. "I think it was improperly PDI when truck arrived at dealer" Dealer blamed it on an improperly seated K&N air filter I purchased so,,, I put back original factory air filter back. I now at times see white smoke coming from exhaust when I first turn it on (cold start)??? I never had this problem with my 2017 Eco boost? For such a beautiful truck, all the hype that lead me to buy this truck, and as expensive that it is, I am very concerned and Very disappointed to say the least, I will be taking my truck back for its10k mile check up along with an oil change. I hope Ford has a fix for these issues, If not, I will be divorcing FORD!. As of December 2021, Engine has burned through most of the oil between maintenance interval, Ford has yet to resolve this issue.
