Ford Escape Hybrid

I love my new Escape Hybrid. The GPS Navigation system, map, icons showing when the gas engine is running, electric engine is running, both running and battery charging are really neat. It also tells you your mileage over last 15 minutes, and how many kilometers till your tank is empty. My model doesn't have automatic headlights which I miss. But its other features make up for that loss.

I have owned my Escape AWD for a year and a half now, and I have been impressed with the vehicle. It is fun to drive, and the interior is roomy enough for my family of four. I have a little over 50,000 miles on it, and I haven't had to replace or repair anything. It handles great on the icy Idaho roads in the winter, and my wife feels safe driving it. That being said, gas mileage leaves something to be desired. I only average 17mpg with the Escape, while I average 14mpg with my much larger Duramax truck. The fuel tank is also too small.

We really love our Escape. It has been nothing short of amazing, and I am so glad we didn't buy something else. The Escape is very reliable, handles great and looks good.

Bought brand new....had in shop in first month, A/C had no coolant in it (factory error). At one year, serpentine belt broke, lost all power. One month later, CDs jammed in CD player and had to ship off stereo to be fixed. Took an entire month to get my CDs back from dealer. LOVE the Escape minus this problems. More irritated with dealer. Could improve gas mileage. Love the safety of side airbags.

I absolutely love my Escape! I am really happy that I bought it, especially as a college student traveling back and forth between campus and home. In fact, I was almost able to pack my brother's entire dorm room in my car. The car is very nice looking, it handles well, has plenty of power under the hood, and is easy to control. I would recommend this car to anybody.
