DO NOT BUY!
I cannot stress enough how I would never recommend this vehicle to anyone! This is the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned. I bought the vehicle in April 2008 and am about to replace the brakes for the third time. Not to mention the four recalls, the tire pressure light, the loud buzzing noise that the inside of the van makes when going over 50. Please do not buy this car, you will regret it! Not to mention that I still owe $20,000 on it and the KBB is only $8,500. Does anyone out there with these problems know of anything we can do? I have written one letter a week to Chrysler and I will continue until they do something!
Satisfied
I brought a 2008 Dodge Caravan with 5000 miles. No automatic doors, or bells and whistles. Currently, it has 157,000 and no major problems. Replace cracked radiator hose, and a minor sensor. Best car I’ve owned. Stow N Go is the invention since the minivan. I’ve kept oil, belts, filters, etc. changed regularly. I’d purchase another 2008 Dodge Caravan today!

This is the worst vehicle i have ever owned.
I would NOT recommened the Dodge Grand Caravan to anyone... I Bought a Brand New dodge Caravan and it has been in the shop for 4-5 recalls Plus i had put new brakes, calipers, and rotors after 8 months of driving it. Plus it just randomly shuts off, after you start it. The keys seldom unlock the doors, you have to manually, and it's been to the shop for that twice already. I put less time and money into my old 1970 Ford Maverick. Just over 100,000 and my transmision is starting to go. I brought it in for warranty work once then they tried to tell me my muffler needed to be replaced and they would do it for$ 900.00 i said no then got a second opion and they said the muffler was fine.
first and last dodge owner
I love having a van!!! I want another van but not a dodge!!!! Bought 2008 Grand caravan in 2014 with 59K miles @ 71K miles oil pan still leaking ( was replaced 61K miles) now have leaky head gasket and oil pan. if bottom charger is used have to hold rim of outlet, pulls out when pulling out charger. Radio looses power then will suddenly come back on after a day or two. Lost 3 qts of oil due to broken oil pan bolt gasket split, oil light NEVER came on. I was very excited to buy a van, I have kept up with oil changes , flushes, recalls, etc at 71 K miles a vehicle should not have these types of problems. I am very disappointed in the reliability of this vehicle, summer vaca is canceled kids disappointed and so am I with wasting money on this vehicle and letting down my children because I don't feel safe driving long distances due to reliability. I will never buy a dodge again. The only thing good about this vehicle is the room, and storage, However its a waste if its sitting in the drive way.

MY VAN IS POSSESSED!
We bought our van 2 years ago and we wish we would of never bought it. Shortly after the "used" warranty expired I was stranded because the plastic key would not start the van. My husband had to take apart the whole dash and unplug and re plug in wires to make the van start with the key. There was been numerous times that the windshield wipers will start, the lights blink off and on, and the gauges go off and on. This van had had these issues since 65,000 miles! Recently this has happened and now also the door locks wont work. I wouldnt suggest this van to anyone! I wish we would of bought a Toyota instead. My sister-n-law has a Toyota mini van and has Never had any problems with it
