2016 black awd Citadel 48k
First off, I am a huge Mopar lover. I wanted to get my wife a Citadel. We test drove a few 2014's, and then in 2015, and finally settled for a 2016 citadel in 2016. The first issue we had was the door locks started getting weird at 31,000 miles. Then, a few little bugs here, and there which was no biggie, and I mean nothing to be alarmed. The Fuel door was the next to go, which as I researched is a issue (bad engineering design). Washer fluid has been acting up, where it will not spray fully with any level. The ac compressor went @ around 45000, but if you ask me the stealership jacked with it, and it never was actually bad. No other owners on Durango forums has reported ac compressor issues, but whatever. I still love it, just be careful of the stealership you pick. Now after 80k miles the drivers door lock does not work, and frankly I still believe the stealership, I use to go to jacked with the car since I have MAX Care lifetime. Money in their pocket for repairs, and 100.00 deductible for me. MAX Care is a great thing, but they get to charge them for work performed, and it's a scam to MAX Care. Just be Be aware. Other than that the HID bulbs are super expensive. I take my Citadel to another stealership since they have a 4.5 rating, and a free drive-thru carwash, which is just as good as the 10.00 in town. Go figure.
