Test Driving Potential Replacements for My Envoy

The Durango would probably be at the top of my list if the EcoDiesel V-6 was an engine option. I need something that can pull a trailer. Right now I'm leaning toward the Jeep Grand Cherokee for that reason. Won't decide for a few more months.

As much as I enjoy driving this vehicle, I cannot find any issues with it. I have less than 10,000 miles on a used one but on a 2,000 mile road trip the mpg was around 22mpg for the whole trip. This wasn't in eco mode either. I have the RT and did not like driving the V6 models. Great for the experience and comfortable. We have had 6 people in this vehicle 4 adults and two car seats with kids in them. It did not feel crowded, but we have the captains chairs and a child seat does fit in the third row with an adult next to it.

We Love Our Durango!

After looking at multiple midsize AWD SUVs, we found the Durango was exactly what we needed. It has plenty of space, comfortable to ride in and drive, has all the bells and whistles you could imagine, and for its size and being AWD, it’s still sitting at 23 MPG combined- not bad! We love our Durango, everyone who rides in it asks us “is this a Durango?” Because these models are such a step up from the previous generation of Durango’s. We would highly recommend this car to anyone in the market for a new SUV!

2016 Dodge Durango Limited

Thus far, I find the Durango overall a very good car. Surprisingly, my gas mileage over all is about 20mpg. The car rides will comfortable and the technology is very intuitive. I do not like the auto start as this takes some getting use too. Every time you come to a complete stop, the engine shuts down and restarts once you press the accelerator. With this feature, I wonder about the life of the starter?
