Durango shopping
The Durango drove well and has awesome features. They are overpriced. :(

2016 Limited
Had the durango for a little over 1 year now. I have had it in the shop at least 6 times. Every sensor you can possibly think of has gone out. Its in the shop as we speak for the same problem that was supposedly fixed early this week. I love the durango its roomy, drives smooth. I do not like the auto start/stop its very annoying, I wish there was a way to turn it off completely. Other than the few trips back to service, its a good vehicle. All the kids can charge their tablets on road trips. The vehicle wifi is terrible. My Chevrolet has awesome wifi compared to Dodge. Also during a hurricane Chevrolet gave a free month of wifi for its customers. Dodge said no way we are not offering you anything, even if your town was destroyed by a hurricane and you have no access to internet. Now it’s 2021 and the Durango has only had the water pump go out since my last review, it’s a dependable vehicle, no complaints.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
I have the 2016 SXT PLUS Blacktop Edition. Love the look. Drives smooth, hugs the road, great gas mileage ( 24.5 mpg average) The entertainment system/ controls ( touchscreen) is VERY user friendly. No problems at all with the Bluetooth. My favorites include the heated seats, heated steering wheel, the exterior and interior look. And you really feel like you are driving a SUV. The ONLY con I have is the acceleration (particularly uphill- ( but I have the V6.) Not complaining too much since it is a larger SUV and weighs more than the average counterparts so it is expected . The acceleration during driving on flat roads is fine. I had a Jeep before this and a Jetta before that. I will NEVER not own a Durango again

Can't believe I bought a Dodge..Still going Great!
Compares and wins against Tahoe, Acadia, Explorer, etc After 3+ years of ownership; no rattles or squeaks, no repairs needed. All I have done is change oil, bought a new set of tires (Same OME Bridgestones, love them) and replaced the front right turn signal bulb (myself, thank you YouTube!). I run with a K&N Engine Air filter and recently replaced the cabin air filter myself (easy, thank you YouTube!) With 50K miles, my mileage is 17 city/23 hwy.on Top Tier Premiun gas. I am thinking of having the throttle-body cleaned.

SUV with Style
The Styling is great. the interior lights and tail lights are great. the headlights are a bit dim compared to my Toyota Corolla and Ram 1500. Seating is great, comfortable, love the heated seats. love the autostart and keyfob for unlocking the doors. I just have to get close and the doors unlock for me as I reach for the door. The climate control auto adjusts. The Navigation SUCKS! I use WAZE instead. I do like the traffic and weather( although it gives me a Danbury weather report not putnam county) The GAS price checker is not very accurate.. still shows HESS and not the new name. In summary, car is great, Uconnect needs work to be more relevant. I was also wondering how they address Security on UCONNECT and was told I would be given a USB drive to update it. Working in IT security, I know there are problems that have still not been fixed on UCONNECT (well unless they can push it down to my car)
