Used 2004 Chrysler Pacifica Fwd 4dr Wagon (3.5L 6cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
2004 Pacifica Family Vehicle
Overall, we love this vehicle! The last SUV that we owned was a bare bones Isuzu Amigo. The Pacifica is a luxury vehicle. One time glitch: the memory seats did not want to move. The dealership reset the system and it is fine now. The over head lights which are available at each seating position are very handy for adult passengers, but not appropriate for small children. The battery sometimes gets worn down by leaving these on accidentally, although there is a global control to turn these off on the turn signal control. This SUV is very comfortable for passengers in the front and second row of seats. The 3rd row is more comfortable than all 3rd row seats in other SUVs we test drove.
Questionable experience
The moon roof exploded and pushed the glass in small pieces up and out of the vehicle. Glass came back into the vehicle. The dealership was not concerned with safety. They were unable to understand the safety concern. A 2nd moon roof was installed. The weatherproof strip buckled in less than a day. The dealership could not explain the previous so we were concerned this buckling may create the same accident. The owner of Norco Motors Pacifica moon roof has no signs buckling. A 3rd moon roof will be installed in the vehicle. They apologize that we feel unsafe. They are sure we are not. They cannot explain why it happened.

Well worth considering
Owned this car for 2 years. Drove over 2000 miles this summer on trip with wife and two small kids. Great ride, comfortable, not bad gas mileage and enough space. For the features and luxury, very good value. Fairly reliable, never stranded. Biggest problem has been air pressure monitoring system - replaced 2x. In single car accident and no one hurt - very safe. Car repaired and like new.
A Solid and Fun Drive ... We love it !!!
Although we have only driven our "tourer" for about 1000 miles, we have thus far pretty much loved every inch of it. Although we would still pick the MDX/ML350/RX/XC90 for quality, we fell in love with the stylish & slick design of the Pacifica. The other makes just looked like any other SUV's out there for our taste. Our only misgivings are not enough horse-power when needed, poor radio reception and too much problems with the the climate controls that we have read and experienced.
I wish I could drive my wife's Pacifica!
This is my wife's ride but I wish it were mine (and I'm only 38 and a car enthusiast!). I am very pleased with our Pacifica (and I thought I'd never buy a Chrysler). Since I bought in July '04, I was able to get what I think was a very good deal with rebates and dealer discount. The ride is sporty yet comfortable. The car in silver with Chrome wheels looks great. The AWD really helps when the roads are wet (can't wait for snow) and the Michelin tires are awesome. So far, I am very happy with the vehicle except for tyring to back it up in the dark. The back-up lights are miserably underpowered.
Love the car!
I love the car! With the extras it was closer to $38,000. Plenty of room - love the 3rd row - very easy to lay flat. More stylish than our mini-van.
Great Vehicle
Looking for a family car that is different that everyone else's SUV, the cost is way less than a ML 350 or X5. The size is larger and the comfort is equal. Not as tall to get in and out of, handles like a car, and equipped in comfort. Mercedes quality in an American product. Congratulations!
I LOVE my Pacifica!
I was shocked to hear when this car was being discontinued because I absolutely love it! However, I do wish it got better gas. I average about 18 mpg between highway/city. I have taken this on road trips around the country with my family and friends. My last one was last summer and was about 5,000 miles long. Nobody has EVER complained about comfort, but instead prefer to ride in my car because it IS so comfortable. I love the navigation in the dash though mine is currently not reliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I think the player gets dirty. In the 5 years I've owned it, I have had to replace the front window regulators once each.
what is a pacifica?
We got a Chrysler Pacifica a couple of weeks ago. When the salesman showed it to us, I thought, what the hell is a pacifca. it had a hundred and seven thousand miles on it so we got the extended warranty. The reason we got another car is because my pathfinder is in the shop with radiator/transmission problems. I hope we have better luck with this car. So far t has been a very good experience. I hope it will continue to be so.
Pacifica
I love my Pacifica. I would buy another in a heart beat. And my children love the DVD player.
