My cars name is Matilda I bought her six years ago used. At that time she had 145,000 miles she currently has 230,945 miles. Even though she’s a bit rusty underneath she always starts. unless of course I believe left some lights on. Oops I put maybe $1000.00 in her. I have been with her everywhere New York South Carolina Georgia Texas. She has not one let me down. Right now though I’m starting to have electrical problems the control panels on the roof I pushed it too hard broke one of the knobs and now my doors don’t open without me manually doing it and I can’t find that part. Maybe I need to go to the junkyard. But we love Matilda been thinking about getting a newer car but I’ll guess I’ll drive this until I can no longer drive it love you Matilda

Bang for the buck Minivan

Replace my 2000 Chevy blazer with 2002 Venture WB edition. Nice minivan, saw all other vans and found every thing in this van and then some. With 2 kids its fun to go out for long drive in this DVD equiped van and carying all the bags and toys in not a problem. Chevy enginers should consider the windsheild wipers, Odometer rest, cruise contol and center consoule as improvements to the van.

Marred by crash test

This is a pretty good vehicle overall. Our family loves the VCR entertainment system. It pulls away pleasently from a stop and has pretty good passing power. It is a bit noisier inside then I would like, but I guess its ok. The ride can really thump over some bumps but is very good over smoother roads. The seats are fairly comfortable, but the second row is a little claustrophobic with the car's dark interior and narrow dimensions. The only thing that is truly disappointing is the IIHS crash test rating, which was the poorest they have ever tested. This alone has motivated us to get a new car.

We bought this car because of a great deal that resulted from being a GM supplier (my company). This 2003 Chevrolet Venture Warner edition is a piece of junk. At 40,000 miles, the rear hatch pneumatic devices that hold it up when loading failed. At 50,000 miles the traction control and cruise control don't work anymore. We wonder what's next. The engine (176 HP six cylinder) accelerates more like a 4 cylinder. The interior build quality is poor throughout. All in all the vehicle is a piece of junk. GM deserves to lose marketshare with products like the Venture.
