2023 Suburban RST
The 2023 suburban is the third suburban in a row that I have owned. We also own a Tahoe so I really like these SUV's. For the 2023 the things that stand out as improvements are the vista roof the 3rd row foot space/ride quality, the 360 camera, usb plugs in the 3rd row and the standard outlet in the back. The biggest things I notice that have declined from the last model is interior storage areas. In the 2023 you loose the space behind the infotainment area and gain a small cubby to the side just big enough for a pair of sunglasses. You loose the overhead sunglass storage, the side storage area on the center console is smaller, you loose the storage area on the back of the center console for the 2nd row and you loose the tray space in the 3rd row over the driver side wheel. All that adds up to a lot less places to keep stuff. The hood on my RST is taller than the past so it is a little harder to see over. The roof rack crossbar mounting is different so have to get different crossbars. Finally opted to stay away from the 6.2 Liter (high country) due to the engine recall/reliability concerns which means I gave up the heads up display since it seams that the HUD likely only comes standard on that model.
