Used 2016 Chevrolet Cruze Consumer Reviews
Fantastic car!!
I owned a 2015 Chevy Cruze LTZ RS model and after 3 months of ownership and 2 payments a girl turned in front of me and totaled the car. This car protected me perfectly and all the needed air bags deployed and the cars safety features worked perfect. The onstar responded perfect. I am now purchasing the 2016 model premier. I highly recommend this car for saving gas and driver safety!!!

Wife's car
It is comfortable for short durations and yes steering wheel is heated. 8/4/2019 3 years and 6000 miles latter, we still love this car. Nice turbo engine, power when you need it. Economy is good avg. 32 mph city/road. Still clean and wife loves it. 2/5/2021 5 years and 9000 miles ...no change in gas mileage . Wife just loves this car. 2/16/20226 years and 12,000 miles. A great small car. Too bad GM stopped building them. Still clean no rust no issues.

Crappy rental car
I drove a 2016 Cruze LT as a rental for two-and-a-half days while my 2014 Civic was getting a minor bumper repair. There are no ways to express how much I hated this car. There was not much headroom, the front seat was uncomfortable, the stop/start was annoying, it lacked power and it rolled backwards when I stopped at stop signs on small hills and took my foot off the brake (automatic transmission). The interior layout and controls for the windows and other instruments was goofy, almost as if GM didn't know where to put things so they just threw it in anywhere. The driver's window did not do an "express up" like most cars and you had to hold the button. The controls for the outside mirrors were not within reach. The radio did not turn off when I turned off the ignition, I had to open the door first with the engine running. It had a foot operated parking brake and some of the radio station controls were behind the steering wheel and every time I moved my hands I accidentally changed stations. It stalled once in the drive through lane at the bank when I tried to drive away. The backup camera and audio display were nice. GM needs to go back and finish this car, I was never so glad to see my Civic and certainly appreciate Honda engineering after driving this piece of junk. It's been a couple of weeks and I still recall my bad experience.

Scarry and dangerous.
Bought the car a year ago but too many recall and alternator broke after 7k miles. Recently, the car failed to start and after 15 minutes the car start. Two weeks after that happen, it happened again. This time, it takes an hour to start but engine lights on. I called Chevy Roadside Assistance and advise ok to drive for a certain miles. So I drive on my way home, car shut off in the middle of the road while driving. I was driving about 35 mph, the car rolling about 50 yard and start again by it self. Its scarry and dangerous, luckily theres no one in front of me or did not go in the freeway. The car has 3 recall, so far the car runs great and no problem.
