Used 2016 Chevrolet Cruze Consumer Reviews
Run Run
The worst car ever and chevy should be ashamed for even selling these cars. My son bought a used chevy cruze with 60k miles. He's only had the car for 10 months and we've already paid out $3000 in repairs. From water pump, key remote, electrical problems and this last time a turbo kit which is $1500 in repairs. They should give anyone who has ever bought this car ALL of their money back. Bad investment for anyone!!!
Reliable? Never!
I bought this car with 40 miles on it, that’s right, 40! So practically straight from the factory! The auto stop is irritating and unnecessary, however this does not even BEGIN to explain my problems with this car. At 61,000 miles (of course right when warranty goes out), the auto stop stopped working! Which I was honestly thankful for. THEN, a few days after this stopped working, I was almost home after a long day of work and the car starts shaking violently, and not accelerating at all! So I pull over to see what’s going on, and the engine is shaking violently. Now I took very good care of this car as this was my baby, regular oil changes, waxes, tire rotations, and maintenance. I take the car to the dealership I bought it, and they offer no help whatsoever. One of the four pistons in the engine is dead so I have to replace the engine completely, $7000 minimum. What does GM say? They’ll help out with $3000 of that. I will never be buying a GM car again. I thought I was buying a good reliable car and BOY was I wrong.

I love the car
I love the car, lots of technology! Very comfortable! I just think the transmission is going to be problematic.

Soooo Close
I drove this car for a week while mine was in the shop. Initially I thought "What a fantastic car". I had not been in a Chevy for years and was genuinely surprised by the quality, comfort, and ride. The good. It rides great with fantastic gas mileage. Lots of backseat room. Seats are comfortable. Center display is great. Like the Bluetooth connectivity. Sound system good. Material quality is good and while not a stunning interior it is fashionable. Good trunk space. The bad. These are things that would absolutely keep me from buying this car. The engine stop/start feature and no ability to turn it off. It is frustrating, annoying and ridiculous. It is the single most detractor of this car. The second is that the brake pedal is three inches higher than the accelerator. The last is that there is no map displayed with directions. They have "Navigation" if you call On Star turn by voice navigation but I would never buy a car without mapped navigation.

Glad I didn't purchase!
Just leased the 2016 Chevy Cruz Premium, so glad I didn't purchase due to auto stop/start. I think this is going to be a safety issue, when the start fails. The stop start is noisy and annoying. Went to dealer to try and disconnect, service said customers are complaining all day about this feature. I've got 2 years and 11 months to go, unless recalls begin sooner.
