Used 2016 Chevrolet Cruze Consumer Reviews
Garbage Vehicle
Issues like crazy. Bought this car in 16. Brand new within a week the brakes fail. Took it in and they fixed it after a month. This past December I have a bad oil leak and I take it in and they state nothing is wrong with it that they put dye in the oil and everything was good. So a week later oil is still leaking like crazy and I take it back in and they stated there is a leak in the seals. So after waiting 2 weeks it gets fixed and everything is good. Then about a 4 weeks ago oil is leaking all over the ground. I take it in once again and they stated they cleaned it all up and they don’t see a leak. So I take it home and about a few days later there is oil all over the ground once again. I take it back and after them having my car for nearly 2 weeks they found a leak and have to replace more seals. Garbage car. I also got screwed out of $228 due to them telling me they can’t put me in a loaner so I have to go get my own since they told me I would get paid back since it’s under warranty. I just got a call to be told they can’t pay me back. Horrible.

Its OK but i cant wait to switch to the Malibu 2.0
I own the LT Automatic: I want something with better acceleration. This car has a sling shot acceleration (it kinda sits in the same spot for a second or two, before it accelerates) And when it does accelerate its not impressive. I will say, if you purchase an aftermarket cool-air intake system that this car sounds WAAAY cooler... it makes this impressive hissing sound when you accelerate and gives you a slightly better acceleration; I bought mine from Amazon.com for about $250. Also, the braking isn't terrible but my last car had waaay better braking. My last vehicle was a 2011 Buick Enclave CXL-1 FWD so maybe I'm spoiled. Lastly, this car has this annoying feature that shuts off the engine AND the A/C when you brake to a stop; dude, when its hot outside and you're trying to cool down, the last thing you want is the A/C shutting off during every stop-sign and red light, FML. So ill be getting rid of this car ASAP and getting the 2016 Malibu 2.0 (that car is a beast but it does cost about $6-8k more.. but its well worth it)

Owner of the first few chevy cruze 2016 out of the
Rides great, great space for a small car, interior looka great very easy to drive around and make turns. Cons i had a check engine light at 30k miles, very slow/very slow laggy acceleration, randomly shut off once, and has a leak from the rear window possible poorly sealed from factory.

Bought 2011 then bought another 2016: great!
After 9 years, we still think that we like clean design by an American; twas engineered in Germany. Outstanding value, performance, economy, space (for a compact), quiet, comfortable, reliable, great looking. After buying and driving a 2011 Cruze we added another 2016 Cruze 5 years later. Our German friends told us about the Cruze's popularity in Europe and England and we love the smooth looks and all around value. GM should have hung in with efficient small sedans.
