The only dislike I have is I don't really care too much for the the auto stop. When the car shuts down on it's own. It scared me at first, now I am more used to it. I assume most newer cars have this feature. This is a very comfortable smooth driving car. I was very surprised with how quickly this car can accelerate and take off. I wasn't expecting that from a 4 cylinder. We purchased the turbo ls. The handling is great. Visibility is good, but the camera helps out with reverse. I could see where it would be a little difficult to judge with out the back camera. I give this car an excellent rating and would recommend them to anyone. Chevy never disappoints.

So far I have put 2400 miles on my Red Hot 2016 Cruze LT. On a recent interstate road trip of 1000 miles in June, I set the cruise at 74 and got 44.1 mpg based on fill-ups. (The computer was very close, reading 44.3.) It's a great car for long trips. The ride is smooth and quiet. The power driver's seat made it easy to find a comfortable driving position. My model doesn't have power lumbar, but I didn't need it because the seat's standard lumbar design is perfect for me. Around my small town, I get 38-43 mpg depending on my route. The back seat has a LOT more leg room than our previous Cruze, which my teenagers really like. The built-in WiFi works very well. Bluetooth works nicely as well. Good sound system. Controls are very easy to use. The AC is very efficient. On medium-low, the car stayed comfortable with temps in the 90s. Visibility is good in all directions. I like the black interior - looks classy. On the down side, there could be a little less chrome in the interior - sunlight reflections are pretty annoying at times. Also, the visors don't slide, which creates some other sun issues. There's no second DC outlet in the back seat, which my previous Cruze had, and my teenagers greatly miss it! The front passenger seat does not adjust for height and sits a little low, in my opinion. Overall, I am pleased with this new Cruze. I have the RS appearance package, which has already received lots of compliments, even from strangers. UPDATE - January 2018. 18,000 miles on the car. A month ago, the auto-stop failed 5 times in one day at intersections, leading to a stalled engine when I lifted my foot off the brake. I had to restart by shifting into park, and then pressing the ignition button (while other drivers honk at me). I took it into the dealer, and the computer could not find any problem. However, it hasn't happened again in the last several weeks. Still, it's making me paranoid. So, for now, when I'm stopped at an intersection and the auto-stop is about to kick in (usually when it's 50 degrees or warmer in my experience), I shift into neutral to keep the auto-stop from engaging. I then shift back to drive when I'm ready to go. Other than that issue, I still really like this car for its handling, smooth ride and overall comfort. On a recent 1000-mile road trip - 90% interstate - I averaged 43.6 mpg based on fill-ups (computer was just a little off at 44.1).

Listen to your customers. Your customers will choose other brands if GM forces them to live with stop/start feature. Give them an option to turn it off. Customers hate it. Just hate it. Also, the front of the driver's seat needs to be able to tilt down few degrees more. So uncomfortable.

Our family has been driving GM vehicles as long as I remember. But if GM forces us to live with the auto stop, one by one, we will buy different makes. GM, don't do that. the auto stop is annoying. Should offer a switch and away to turn it off.

Cruze Premier Very Impressive!

The restyled Chevy Cruze is extremely spacious and comfortable to drive. The materials are high quality and look great. Fuel economy is 28-30 around town and 40-45 highway. Performance is more than adequate with the performance of the 1.4 turbo and 6 speed automatic. The only complaint I've had concerns the engine auto-stop feature when vehicle is stopped. This can be overcome by shifting into L and manually upshifting to 6th gear. Overall, I am very pleased with the appearance and performance of my Cruze and would buy again.
