Another bad decision!
This is my 3rd Cadillac and second xts. Had a 2013 xts platinum with wheel issues shortly after purchasing. Was told it’s the design and they’re low profile so they always end up being bent. So I purchased a set of aftermarket wheels for less and they look better. The ride is still not good enough. Bought a 2014 xts vsport platinum. Brake problem every other week. Rotors warping, squeaking, you name it. Cue system is terrible unless you have a 2016 or newer. Carbon buildup issue and half of the Cadillac dealers act like they don’t know anything about the service to clean carbon out of intake. All struts on the 2013 and 2014 had to be replaced as well as the rear air suspension compressor and it still doesn’t ride well. No more Cadillacs for me even if I was filthy rich. They look good when they’re sitting not worth the constant issues.
2014 XTS
good car rides good, could use more head room so a man can wear a hat. look great in pearl white with shale interior. New models have better warranty to match competition. Nav system, lane depart, parking sensors, rear view camera, great items. Problem with cue screens, they crack.

Don't believe the hype.
My wife really wanted a "Caddy" and so we bought a used 2014 xts with decent mileage and price. She wanted one yrs ago, but we went with a Mercedes instead. We were able to give the Mercedes to our daughter with little to no issues. 6 months into this Cadillac and I'm starting to regret this purchase...smh...I knew better and should have ran away/talked her out of it. We recently recieved a letter from the warranty department saying the want to raise the price of the warranty (which we negotiated into the financing) and they dropped us when elected not to. I guess only consumers have to honor contracts. Soon after the warranty incident, a simple swap of key fob batteries causes the car to pick and choose the times it recognizes the fob and starts the car. The QUE system is Ok, but can be finicky as well. Lastly, the gears are beginning to slip. My wife's dad had a Cadillac, and other than 1 or 2 good yrs, that car turned out to be a nightmare. I read and follow many expert reviews all the time and I never had a desire for any GM product; I just wanted to bless my wife. She was blessed...now all I want to do is curse.

I want my Lincoln back!
Probably my last car due to my age. I have owned many cars but not a caddy until now,, a nd I must say I'm a little disappointed. The infotainment system can't hold a candle to my past Lincoln. The Lincoln was also more roomy up front and had a better standard engine. Another disappointment for me was the dash lighting. At night it is awesome but during the daylight it darkens out and becomes almost a blank. Is it not necessary to view your instrument panel during the day also? Car handling is great and the look of the car is great, but Ipaid for a lot of extras that don't measure up! Also the forward crash monitor and its notifier, that is the red lights that appear and the alarm don't respond until you are too close to the car ahead of to avoid an accident. I could go on but as I said when I started this, I wish I had my Lincoln back!
