LOVE MY BUICK
The moment I test drove this car I knew it was for me. Just the right size, roomy interior all the extras anyone could want with a sticker under 35,000. Lots of pep 3 cylinder is great and the gas mileage amazing. 2/24/22: Three cylinder and has the pick up of a six. Beautiful inside and out.

Not the warm fuzzys I expected.
The transmission vibrates at each shift point with normal driving. Second time to the dealer. GM says it is operating as designed. GM dealership tech verified the problem. Not acceptable. Don't buy!

For what you pay, GM sure made some money!
Voice recognition does not work for newer android phones. Works with iPhones, but forget the rest. Contacted GM, but they were clueless. I had an older phone and an older car and both worked great. This makes for unsafe driving because the voice response/hands free calling feature doesn't work. I had a 2010 Chevy Malibu that was more technologically advanced than this one. Center console storage is difficult to get the little tray out. The Malibu had 2 latches for the center console storage compartments, much more convenient.

Cute car but…
I have owned my car for 15 months I purchased it brand new. I love the car it is cute it has all of the features of my fancier previous car but much cheaper with great gas mileage! Now with that being said I got into my car and it sounded as if it was going to die. I backed it out and went to leave and several service lights came on and the vehicle would not go over 15 miles an hour. Luckily I was only traveling a couple of blocks. I parked in the drive not the garage knowing something was wrong. When I got out of my car it locked itself down and would not allow me to open the doors. being a single woman I could not figure out where the hidden key hole was on the car. After googling it the keyhole is hidden in the door handle that you have to pop off to get to. Who knew?? certainly not a single woman with her broken down car. Now the bad part- they had to take my car on a flatbed to the dealer as it was undrivable. the dealership is now waiting for parts. they said my oil pump has went out which I am understanding usually you blow the engine as well when this happens. they have not told me this yet. I have my vehicle serviced routinely so no I did not run it out of oil. Not sure what was going on with the key fob sensor to make the car lockdown but that is another issue. I am very thankful that it is still under warranty but for a car being a little over a year old I don’t think I should have to worry about the engine blowing. I am the only driver and I do not hot rod. So if you are looking to purchase this vehicle I would probably check and see if there are more reviews. up until this point I have loved my car but this is a pretty serious breakdown.

A Very Pleasant Surprise
Great vehicle! This has been my third experience owning a Buick and have not been disappointed with any of them. My only area of concern was the 3 cylinder engine and whether or not it would be powerful enough, but the test drive with my spouse and the salesperson on board more than satisfied my concern. It is very peppy and responsive. It doesn't have sports car performance by any means, but has more than enough performance for my daily driving and travelling needs. It feels larger than it is and is smooth, quiet and comfortable. It has a very nice list of features and looks good with the Sports Touring Package. I will miss my previous Buick, but this one fits our needs wonderfully, and should help me forget about the other one very soon. UPDATE: I have owned this vehicle for two years and have owned two Buicks previously. Overall, I think it's good car, but based on my experience with the others, it's not a great car. Previous Buick models had smooth and comfortable rides. Overall ride comfort on this vehicle is just fair. This one throws you around from side to side when the road gets uneven. It can beat you up on longer trips. The engine is raspy under heavy acceleration but is very peppy and quiets down nicely after you reach cruising speed. It gets very good gas mileage in both 2WD and AWD. The brakes have been problematic since I bought it. My research shows this is a common problem with this model year. They squeal LOUDLY when you back up and are getting louder as they develop more wear. I've contact GM and since it's not a safety concern they are not motivated to address the issue. Hopefully switching to quality aftermarket brake products when replacement is necessary will solve the problem. The other issues I don't like are the Auto Stop mode and front seat comfort. When Auto Stop restarts the engine is does so with a very hard thump (it almost feels like you're getting rear-ended). The front seats are very narrow and "shallow" and have poor lateral support. It's a great looking vehicle with lots of technical and safety features, but anybody who remembers the older Buicks may be disappointed in what they are offering now, and those with no previous experience will probably realize there are better offerings out there in this price range. When the time comes to trade it in, I'll probably be looking elsewhere myself.
