Little glitches
My daughter and I both bought 2020 Buick Encore GX’s and both just had a few hundred miles. Both had the check engine light come in within a few weeks of each other. They both have little glitches. My daughter’s cruise control shuts off on her while she is using it. I have had issues with my touchscreen not coming in or my apple care play not wanting to work. That is not often but on occasion. I have had an odd sound upon starting on occasion. We both had squealing breaks and had them replaced due to a complementary recall, both still squeal very loudly when stopping. Newest vehicle I have ever had and I have had more issues then I had with my older cars. First Buick too.I love so many things about this vehicle but am disappointed in Buick for not living up to my expectations. I wanted to have this vehicle for many years but I feel like I am waiting for the other shoe to drop and something major and expensive to happen.

Transmission Problems under 3,000 miles
I had my car for 15 days when the check engine light came on while driving at 55mph, pulled to side of the road and tried to move to a safer location and the car wouldn't budge. Finally made it to a safe spot by flooring the peddle and creeping at a fast 2 mph. OnStar ran a diagnostic and it was a transmission issue. Had the car towed to the dealer I bought it from and was told the output speed sensor and harness went out, no eta on when the part would be in. 67 days and 3 loaner cars later the part finally arrived and my transmission put back together and I was told I could pick it up. Drove it home last night and the lane departure warning system is unavailable and the steering has so much play it feels like I'm driving a rock crawler. Literally hit a bump and the steering wheel jerked and moved the car, almost hitting the vehicle next to me. I am scared to drive this car now. I have it back at the dealership to fix both issues and am in loaner #4. I looked into Texas Lemon Law but it has to be repaired twice for this transmission issue and since it was in the shop over 30days but I was given a comparable loaner, that part doesn't apply so I am not eligible for the Texas Lemon Law but I am pretty sure it's a lemon. I regret buying this car and buying from the dealer I used. I loved my car and had a great buying experience but the experience since I drove off the lot has been awful.

Nope
Engine and transmission had problems the first day I bought it with 20 miles. Dealership couldn’t tell me what was wrong with the car. Maybe it’ll be a recall soon since it’s a 2020, and maybe it was just the dealership.
Piece of junk
2 fuel pumps in 4k miles, all kinds of noises, stay away. I leased this pile of junk for 3 years, ugh.

LOVE MY BUICK
The moment I test drove this car I knew it was for me. Just the right size, roomy interior all the extras anyone could want with a sticker under 35,000. Lots of pep 3 cylinder is great and the gas mileage amazing. 2/24/22: Three cylinder and has the pick up of a six. Beautiful inside and out.
