Not For the "Me Too" Crowd
My Audi A6 S Line 2.7t Quattro is a stand-out car in all respects. It's interior and exterior both scream uniqueness, sport-luxury and quality. This is my second Audi A6 and the 04 is better than my 01. I've got all the get-up-and-go I could ever need for over-taking and freeway merging and the Quattro 4 wheel drive provides that extra road handeling competence that you just have to personally experience to fully appreciate. I mean slot-car like road holding around corners. When you punch the gas, the torque just keeps pulling and pulling and before you know it, you're just going too damn fast!
a previous BMW 5 series now an A6 2.7T
I was a prevoius BMW 5 sries owner. granted BMW is a good Brand. however, the A6 2.7 Bi turbo is a much overal car. the car handles a lot better in all weather. I owned the BMW for a long time I can honestly trll you that yes, is a matter of opinion, but for me was the actual driving experience and Yes, The the A6 is better. Shariff,M.D.

Model Update Needed
I have owned 4 A6's and find the new 3.0 to have lost substantial refinement. The engine although adding 20 horsepower feels crude when compared to the 2.8 and sounds as if it is working too hard.Even the brushed alluminum gear shift plate has been reduced in size over the older models and the fabric covering the gear shift and the steering wheel is a very coarse space age product I would expect to find on a non luxury vehicle. The model is showing its age. Time for a new one.
Nice, Costly Family Sportster
I bought this car from pampering owner. I had a '98 A8 10yrs ago that I prefer. The car looks awesome but I find myself nickel and diming my way through ownership of this Audi too. Both of my 5 series BMW's and my two Volvo's (S60 & S80) were much less expensive to own. I hit a small deer at 20 mph that cost 5K to repair- chalk 1 for the dealer. Can't seem to get the ride completely smooth and the dealership always finds something. The car is not as fast off the line as the engine sounds, but it is great on the highway. Big gas tank is great for trips and the highway mpg is great--especially compared to the dismal in-city driving with a heavy foot. Overall- not sure it's worth it.
Awesome Audi A6
i love this car for its design, looks and comfortable and quiet ride. I like the audi image of luxury without pretentiousness. the only thing that should change is that audi dealers should be required to strictly sell only audis not other cars.
