A6 2.7T Review
This is my third Audi in five years. I've owned an A4, S4 (great car) and now the A6 2.7T. This is a great exec car with plenty of room for people in the back, yet sporty enough to have fun.
Pathetic Reliability
Great car if you want to know your service dealer really well as car is in shop over 35 days/15 months for a variety of mechanical problems, some of which can not be fixed even after 5 attempts.

Best Value in Market
I bought a loaded 3.0 CVT after shopping against the BMW 530i. With the same identical options, the Audi was $12,000 cheaper out the door while having more interior and cargo room than the BMW. Quality and reliability has been first rate. The CVT is a breakthrough technology for this size of car. The interior is the best in the industry. The A6 is simply the best value buy in the luxury car segment.
FUN CAR
THIS CAR HANDLES GREAT. A VERY SMOOTH RIDE AND A GREAT AMOUNT OF POWER. THE UPPER LEVEL A6'S ARE ONLY ABOUT A 1/2 SEC. FASTER 0-60. LOVE THE CVT TRANSMISSION WHEN IT IS USED RIGHT AND INTERESTING AT OTHER TIMES. ALREADY HAD TO BEREPLACED AT 10000K,LUCKILY UNDER WARRANTY.NOISEY SUNROOF WHEN CLOSED ALL YEAR ROUND. OTHERWISE GREAT CAR.
Poor quality in a pretty package
Attractive design wrapped around a nightmare of ongoing expensive repair bills for items I have NEVER had break on any other car I have ever owned! Keeping up with regular maintenance does not help avert the $1500 to $2000 bi-monthly repair bills that begin when the car hits around 75K miles. This has convinced me to NEVER buy another Audi - good looks and style are not worth much when you frequently get stranded on the roadside with a dead car and have to face towing cost AND a couple of thousand dollars of repairs. Not worth the premium I paid for poorly engineered mechanics :-(
