2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP 4dr Sedan (5.3L 8cyl 4A)

Review

Fun car, previously owned a 96 olds aurora with the 4.0 v8(great car) and a 02 v6 powered 300m.Traded the 300m on the GXP and I don't miss the 300m a bit.I am impressed by the GXP's v8 power.Loads of hp and torque, which is nice for winning the stoplight races. The exhaust note reminds me of a sixties muscle car. Decent ride for a car with a performance suspension and low profile tires. Fuel economy is lower than shown on window sticker. I'm sure the car was tested under normal driving conditions but what fun would it be to drive this car slow? As I said there is no substitute for American v8 power.

Best Features

Hud,Supportive leather seats,Stops on a dime. Wheel and tire package.Xm radio.V8 rumble!Monsoon stereo.Dual climate control.Can blow the doors off a BMW 330i and costs 10,000 less.

Worst Features

Less use of plastic in interior.Needs a spare tire. Homelink would be nice. Why no power passenger seat or lumbar?More exterior color options would be nice.
