Used 2002 Volvo S60 Consumer Reviews
Great Car
This car has been reliable and trouble-free for the first 8000 miles. The base with the 5-spd has plenty of get up and go for most driving situations. Car handles great in the snow and rain, especially with Stability Traction Control. A great car for the money if you take it easy on options. Highly recommend the Volvo Overseas Delivery program unless you can get a great deal off the lot.
A Perfect Ten
This is our second Volvo. It is the best car for the money in this segment. Our prior Volvo, the V-70, had not a single problem in the 39 months we leased it. The main reason I am penning this review is that the first review here is positively glowing. But the writer gives the car a "5." He/she surely knows his/her cars, but not his/her math. A super review means the car should get at least an eight. So read the prior review, average it with my "10," and then go get the car!

dont waste your money $$$ on it!
even for an entry level luxury sedan, one has high hopes. this car fell short even with the $$$. there are fit and trim problems. a re-ocurring issue with the front suspension, poor service from Volvo dealers who basically treat you no better than going to a Ford outfit! perhaps Ford made too many changes when they bought them???
excellent
This car is the best value for teh buck in the automotive industry... Bar None...
Original Owner, 6 yrs later, still love
I have never kept a car this long, it is still as great as the day I bought it. The car is reliable, fast, and gets good gas mileage. The reliability, the big stuff is great, but I agree with others, my fuel door fell off, and I seem to replace a lot of brake lights. Other than that it has been very good. The engine uses no oil (I design engines for a living , I would know), it maintains very clean oil through the oil life, indications the rings and guides are in good shape still. The paint is amazing, I don't wax it because it seems to not need it, looks new still (not garaged for most of its life).
