Used 2006 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5 4dr Sedan (2.5L 5cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
The new 2006 Jetta
For starters, I managed to get the car for $22,250; I thought that is was a good price for what it is. I've got package one with XM. I'm just coming off of a 1995 Nissan Sentra with 205,000 miles, so this is a joy to drive. The handling is great, road noise is minimal, but not perfect. Sound system is great although I haven't hooked up the XM radio yet. I have not encountered any of the problems that I have read about concerning the 2005 models. The only problem that I do have is the mileage. In other cars that I have driven, the mileage was consistent regardless of the AC or heat being on. The Jetta's more sensitive to these mechanisms and can eat more gas than I am used to buying.
great car but paint..
i love this car. i got indash gps. i also go 4 12 inch subs. fully loaded package 2. but the only thing i had is the paint. i got a black jetta. but the paint is just horrible after driving it. i just will have to get it buffed. i just worry that it wont make it worse.
Best Jetta Yet!
I have had many VW's in the past and the 2006 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5 is by far the best Jetta yet. I came from a Golf TDI and was weary of going back to a gas enginem but so far it is a great, solid engine. Its gas mileage is comparable to previous models, which is impresive since the '06 Jetta is more powerful and a bigger car. I will reccomend this vehicle to everyone.
2005 Jetta
Not much power from the 5-cylinder motor when compared against comporably priced cars, but a more sophisticated and expensive looking and feeling interior. It is annoying that the car forces both driver and passenger to put a seatbelt on or it keeps beeping.
Gretta the Jetta
Wow, I have done lots of driving since I have got my 2006 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5. I love it! It is simply the best car I have ever driven, it feels like a luxury car and drives like a dream.
