2019 MINI Countryman
Downsized to the Mini Countryman from my much larger SUV. Was not the largest SUV out there, but still difficult for me to park in lots and park in my garbage and get around it in the tight space. I wanted something smaller and the occasional mini I saw in my community really caught my eye. My husband was concerned about space, but was surprised that it wasn’t as small as he thought it … would be. Have the carbon black Mini Yours interior and it is gorgeous, sporty, and very comfortable. Quiet when running on the electric motor on my short trips. Fun to drive with great get-up-and-go on the highway and love the sound of the combustion engine when it kicks in. Great rear camera, great visibility, and I love the app that lets me know that it is charged, where it located, status, and how many gallons of gas I have left. I love this car! The only downs I have found: do wish it got just a few more miles on the plug in; expensive to upgrade my electric panel to accommodate the more rapid charge I wanted, but I am glad I did. Charges in less than 2 hours. The brakes were grabby in the beginning, but I got use to it and now I brake more smoothly. Still haven’t taken the time to figure out how to make the infotainment center default to where I last had it. I am always having to adjust to it back to my music station and split screen. Love the drive, love the looks, great car. I have had many cars and this one is my favorite so far.
