Best car ever! Still going strong in 2023

2000 Lexus RX 300
Writing this in 2023 with 180k miles - my parents bought my 2000 RX300 new when I was 8 years old. She was handed down to me once I got my license at 16 and my parents replaced her with a new Porsche. My Lexus has since outlived that Porsche. For a 23 year old car, it’s incredible how well it’s running and how great it still looks. It’s still my daily driver and I haven’t had any … transmission issues or other major repairs. The door lock & window motors did go out 2 years ago, as did the brake light module, but all were relatively straightforward DIY fixes. I did recently fix an engine valve leak at the dealer which cost me $600. Other than those minor issues, I have not spent anything else on this car outside of normal annual maintenance. I hope my RX300 lives forever. I have been shopping around for new cars as the day will inevitably come when I’ll need one, but I have yet to test drive anything I like better than this old girl.
