We recently purchased a new GX550 Luxury +. I’ve owned the 2022 LX600, 2023 GX 460 and many other luxury SUV’s. I love the Toyota V8s. I was hesitant to buy the GX as my LX 600 was one of the ones with the recalled engine.
The new GX is in a different category. It doesn’t ride like a crossover, has fantastic looks and the engine has plenty of power. I’m hoping the engine issues … are resolved. Lexus service provides the best owner experience, better than MB or BMW. The tech is just enough to be modern but not over the top. Both the BMW and MB have too much unnecessary tech such as gesture control.
The GX rides great on the highway and the fit and finish is excellent. Still wish they had the v8 but overall very pleased with the new GX
