2022 BMW 7 Series
Rented a 740i X-drive for our PCH roadtrip. The smooth ride, comfortable seats, solid handling and adequate power from the V6 was great. The heads-up nav display was handy at times. The large trunk was good for making sure all our personal items could be stowed away out of sight. The shifter was perhaps my biggest complaint, as it has the parking button on top, while the button … required to initiate a gearshift was on the left side.... definitely frustrating at first as gripping the shifter firmly can result in inadvertently pressing the parking button while you are trying to change directions, resulting in the car not shifting into drive, but remaining in park. Overall, it was a great car for a 10 day road trip though.
