Base model lacks common features
I liked the fact that it had only 42,000 miles on it with 2 previous owners and a newer frame because it was part of a Toyota recall. My 2010 Toyota Tacoma was full of extras which this 2011 lacks. No power mirrors, no cruise control, no intermittent wipers, standard shift, only a 4-cylinder engine. But it looks brand new including the inside and the bed, which is 6.1 foot long. I have to get used to the 5-speed transmission since it is different from my 2010 model. And hills require me to downshift often more than one time. But it is perfect for my local use, especially in the winter. It came with snow tires, and I have saved my all-weather tires from my 2010 model. I have 2 other Toyotas at home - a 2008 Solara and a 2015 RAV 4. All have given me excellent service!

Lady’s truck
I live my Tacoma. This is my second Tacoma. I!ve owned Chevrolet Silverado and S 10’s. The Tacoma offers behind the passenger seat storage unmatched by any other small truck. It also has 2 storage compartments under the passenger seats. It gas storage compartments in the bed of the truck as well.
