After owning a 1998 Expedition for the last four years we were ready to look into another large SUV. Because we have already owned Toyota's in the past and were always very pleased with their reliability, we decided to research the Sequoia. The handling of the Sequoia was far superior to that of the Expedition and also the acceleration of the Sequoia was far superior.

This is a great truck. It turns heads for the great look that it has. It also gets the job done. I also use it to pull my 10x5 trailer, and it hasn't failed me yet.

This car is huge. But once you get in it and start driving it around, you realize that you're driving a sedan, except for the fact that you're above everyone else. The quietness and smooth ride of this SUV is nothing short of amazing. Toyota spec'd the Sequoia's 0-60 at 9.8 seconds. But I sweart it did it in 7 seconds.

We traded our '98 GMC Suburban 4X4 LT. We looked at the Yukon XL and there was no comparison. The Toyota is really a vehicle that you can live with day in and day out. It's a blast to drive! It seats 8 comfortably...The Yukon's are mostly sold with 4 bucket seats in ATL now. The interior comfort and ease of use is way ahead of the Yukon XL. The Yukon XL back seat was a beast to remove. The Yukon just was too truck- like, plus it was more expensive feature for feature. We don't tow much...If I towed, I'd have taken the Yukon.
