Baby Ferrari
The best sports car for the money!
Bang for the Buck!
Bought it w/ just over 100k on the odometer. The only mechanical repairs I've had was to rebuild the power steering due to a leak and replace emergency brake cables. Previous owner wasn't too mechanically inclined and I've had to fix some problems due to his poor mechanic skills. Parts are expensive and Labor time adds up due to mid engine design. Luckily I do most of them myself. That said, this is one of the best cars I have ever owned!! Engine is bullet proof and over engineered to 400hp. Handles better than a Ferrari 348 with the same acceleration time. Dollar for dollar this the best looks and performance you can get.
One of the greatest cars. Ever
I've been driving Mr2s since I graduated highschool. And it's a lover affair that actually seems to grow every year. I'm on my 3rd '2 now. I've driven the NA and currently drive the Turbo (although it is the imported Japanese motor) and I can say both engines are a blast to drive and the car is remarkable reliable. I really can't say enough good things about these little sportsers. Classic styling, frightning handling and the interior is so simple and brilliant- it just doesn't get any better for the price. Seriously, it doesn't. I've looked.
