Just unloaded jeep grand cherokee
I just bought this car after getting rid of my much defective grand cherokee. As far as style and power, the jeep was more of a "kick ass" look and feel. I am getting used to driving this one now. It feels okay but dosen't have the power that the jeep had. If there weren't so many mechanical problems with the jeep, i would of bought another one. I like the look, style, feel and power much better. Too bad
Great family vehicle
We purchased a AWD 6cyl about 2 weeks ago and we love it. It is a pleasure to drive compared to our old RAV4. It has plenty of room, silky smooth engine and tranny. After test driving the Highlander and 4Runner back to back, we went with the Highlander for the better ride. Since Honda dealers are not dealing with the Pilot, we figured we could with the Highlander. We got it for below invoice after a $1000 rebate from Toyota.

My 2003 Highlander
Riding in the front is great, comfortable, back seat is somewhat less. The backseat is firm and the ride is a bit stiff jarring. Handling is great. The side mirrors are a real value, big, Braking is good, but it takes time to get used to the 4 wheel disk brakes feel.
great car
excellent drive and handling. one design flaw is high pithced noise the moon roof makes when open which is alleviated when the front passenger windows are slightly opened.
