My test drove both the 2025 crown limited and the 2025 Camry xse trying to make up my mind. They both had very nice rides and were quiet however the crown was definitely a level above for comfort and quiet and handling. Aesthetically the crown is also far superior. I was not a fan of the plastic grill above the glove box in the Camry it looked very childish and fingerprint magnet-ish. The ride and the crown was very quiet with minimal road noise and minimal engine noise I would make it directly comparable to the Lexus ES.

Crown Platinum is AWESOME!

We own a Jeep Wrangler and a Chevy Silverado, both of which serve their purposes well but get bad gas mileage. We were looking for a vehicle that would be ideal for daily driving and road trips while helping us avoid adding mileage to our "toys." The criteria I needed for a new vehicle are reliability, good gas mileage (at least 30 mpg), an attractive design, and above-average horsepower. Finding a vehicle that met all these requirements was surprisingly difficult. Additionally, we wanted to stay within a $45,000 budget. After extensive research, I found several vehicles that I liked, but none met all my criteria—until I discovered the Crown Platinum. However, I was not willing to spend $56,000 on it. So, I embarked on a mission to find a 2024 model with very low mileage. After a few weeks of searching, I located a 2024 Crown Platinum with less than 5,000 miles for $43,985 at a highly-rated dealer in Texas. We decided to go for it, as this seemed like a very good price for the vehicle. I’ve had my Crown for a few weeks now, and I absolutely love it! It’s so quiet that I can’t even tell it’s running. The ride is smooth and quiet, even with the large wheels. The 340 horsepower is incredible and makes for a fun driving experience; it accelerates from a standstill like a little silver bullet. The only downside I’ve encountered is the all-black interior, which tends to show everything. I believe Toyota could improve this by offering a two-tone interior option for the Platinum model. Overall, the Crown is a fantastic car—easy and fun to drive, equipped with the latest safety features, impressive tech, and a good sound system. I expect it will meet our needs for years to come.

Love my HybridMax

The car has so far exceeded my expectations. Extremely comfortable for long drives and my commute to the office with plenty of power on tap when its needed. With active cruise control and Toyota's traffic jam assist rarely do I have intervein in stop & go freeway traffic until I approach the off ramp. Since I got the car I have yet to get below 28 mpg with the best being 35 mpg highway.

Unique Luxury in a Interesting Package

I just bought a brand new Toyota Crown Platinum for $51,800. It’s the best car I have ever owned. It’s like driving a Lexus for the price of a Toyota UPDATE: I wanted a top of a line Camry XE with tech package but it wasn’t available. Almost instead bought top of the line Subaru Outback at about $44K. Crown looked fascinating but top of the line at $56K was out of my price range. Then dealership offered me a new Platinum for like $51K. It seemed like a no brainer to choose this Crown for like $6K more than the Outback. Best car decision I have ever made. Yes the 29MPG for this more powerful model initially concerned me the power baby is well worth the mpg sacrifice. The car is comfortable and loaded with tech features. Well built and fun to drive. I read the reviews from Haters and frankly the Haters are dead wrong on this.
