My job entails driving around 500 miles a week and i I have always listened to audio books. The 2019 Camry lacks a CD player and the selection of E audio books from my library is scant, therefore I can no longer enjoy utilizing them on my long drives. Therefore, I would not recommend the 2019 Camry.

In a rental Camry. Yes it starts goes and turns. It inoffensive but noisy and slow. It actually drives nicely but the sum of its parts is like the K car of the 80s. Remember those.?There are so many other choices why this?

Nice looking style but engine and transmission..

I rented a new 2019 Camry for my road trip. The style is nice. However when acceleration, the car felt like the engine and the transmission weren't communicated well. The engine screamed out loud and thrash while the transmission lazily reluctantly pulling away. If I compare its acceleration and fun factors against my 2004 acura RSX automatic, I would pick my RSX. It was comfortable for long trip but not good for fast acceleration. Therefore I must carefully planned well ahead when passing on freeway. Its worst performances are noticed when acceleration, stop and go, and accelerate from a very slow speed. I wouldn't buy it doesn't matter how reliable the car is. For the money, I would buy a Mazda6 or Mazda3 instead. I will void Honda, Nissan, Subaru with CVT stuffs but for buyers that just love the looks. For my taste and average drivers out there, they preferred traditional 6 speeds automatic transmission or higher. If tou don't believe my honest review then you should buy one and get stuck with it for 5 years.
