This is my second Solara convertible. There is none better on the market. I have two kids and wanted a fun car to have as an option to my suburban, but wanted my children to be comfortable in the back seat. Just about every other convertible on the market has such a small back seat that my kids would have to remove their legs to fit into it! The best part about the Solara is that it is a truly EXCELLENT automobile, not just great to look at. I've had every great car you can own... Mercedes SL500, Jaguar XJ12, Porche 911, etc... This car is my FAVORITE of them all.

This was my mid-life crisis purchase - have always wanted a convertible, so I went for it. The "shake" in the car when you hit the slightest bump worried me at first but then I realized it was normal for a convertible. Everyone stares when we drive by with the top down. My best friend and I always just say "they want to be us!" Everyone in my family hates the car because I always want the top down, but that was the point!! I have 1400 miles on it, leased it (first time - scared to death about that) but am thinking about trading on an Avalon Limited. I know I will miss my relaxing evening drives...I researched every convertible. This one was the best I found - go for it!

Quiet ride with top up. Comfort is so superior to the Sebring convertible I owned before. Exceptional convertible for the money and quality.

Nice style inside and out, quiet ride and very little wind for a convertible. The only real negative is with the top up there are blind spots out the back window.

The five speed automatic tranmission doesn't shift properly when speeding up after slowing down or coming out of a turn. Dealership tells me it's operating as designed. Will never get another Toyota.
