Used 2006 Toyota Camry Solara Consumer Reviews
My first convertible
I purchased my Solara convertible, black with dark gray leather, 9/5/05. I didn't realize it, but nicely equiped and priced convertibles are hard to find. It was truly worth the wait. I looked at all the other available convertibles in this price range, and this one is by far the best. Just reached 1000 miles (mostly open top), and I have absolutely no complaints. The ride is smooth, quiet (for a convertible), and responsive. A true head turner, and many have stopped to talk and take a look. Some have mentioned the poor rear view, but it's not an issue for me, my other cars have high rear ends also, so I've become accustomed to side mirror driving. I really love this car.
Love it more every day!
We researched a lot of cars and although I really wanted the convertible at first, the visibility was terrible. At 5' tall, I am able to adjust the seat so that I have no problems with comfort. I do agree that memory settings for the driver seat would make this car complete. (My husband is 6'2") The rear seat is big and the trunk is much larger than the convertible, plus the 60/40m split seat behind that folds down to access the trunk is great for skis or a random trip to the hardware store. It combined my wishes for a sporty looking car with a great luxury car that my husband wanted. It is close to perfect!

A Great Car for the Individualist
The convertible is generally wonderful; great ergonomics, unique style quiet interior, and great ride.
I like this auto!
This a very solid feeling and quiet running car. There was no cowl shake as others reported. I own two LS 400-430 cars and this car is as solid and nearly as quiet as these are. The visibility with the boot top in place was only fair but without the boot-top installed visibility was adequate!
It's Just Great
Have owned this vehicle for a couple of months, but we're thrilled with it! A hot rod its not, but it has very good power, and corners and handles very well. Plus, the seating and stereo are fantastic, and the fit and finish of this car is well above average.
