Used 2006 Toyota Camry Solara Consumer Reviews
Best convertible under 35K
I love it!! The only thing I don't like is removing the top cover and where to store it. Putting it back on is a pain! But it's still worth it!
Beautiful Car
I bought this car about a month ago I absolutely love it. It is so much fun to drive, and it looks great. So far I have not had any problems and everything has been easy to use. I'm still getting used to the dual transmission, but I found that if I drive in manual I get slightly better gas mileage.

Fun In The Sun
I have found my Toyota Solara convertible to be a very satisfying automobile. Converting it to an open car takes slightly less than 10 seconds. The top and the four windows all go down with the touch of one button. The button, unfortunately, is partially hidden behind the steering column and cannot be seen easily. A minor criticism -- but it's difficult to fault the car. The ride and quietness feel like a much more expensive car. Especially the quietness which is unusual for a convertible -- and is greatly appreciated. I have driven the car 5,000 miles with absolutely no adjustments or service required. I have owned many new cars and this Solara ranks with the best. At it's price, it is a bargain.
I like this auto!
This a very solid feeling and quiet running car. There was no cowl shake as others reported. I own two LS 400-430 cars and this car is as solid and nearly as quiet as these are. The visibility with the boot top in place was only fair but without the boot-top installed visibility was adequate!
Top Down Fun
Simply, this is the nicest four passenger convertible available that is reasonably priced. It is wonderful to drive and to be seen in. It handles very well & takes road bumps with ease. I do love the DVD Navigation! I'm not in love with the transmission as it seems to take it's time when shifting sometimes. But, the mileage isn't too bad. Bottom line - great car!
