I bought the V8 Limited 4WD and I have not been disappointed, it drives like a dream not at all like the sled like suvs I have had in the past! The interior is plush and comfy and the controls are a bit confusing at first, but you catch on pretty quick I wish the power windows were a little higher up and more illuminated, also it needs rear cup holders that are not in seat beacuse if you have three in the rear no place for cups except the bottle holders in the door. Overall drive and ride is excellent!

Frames are garbage and rust out in matter of years

Check out the frame real well for rust I bought one from a private party and the seller was only available at night how convenient and I test drove it and it drove like a dream so I got under the engine looked for oil and it had no leaks I thought he’ll yeah I’ll take it for $7200 got it home next day when it was light outside noticed a tone of rust started looking the car over and half the frame was missing I never heard of a rust problem when I searched problems before purchasing the vehicle and it’s a 2005 hell there’s 57 chevys still on the road with original frames. So I contacted Toyota took it to a dealer and even the dealership said it’s a defective frame but without a recall they won’t do nothing about it so if you’ve encountered a defective frame contact the belllegalgroup.com/Toyota-lawsuit because you’re re not the only one it’s free of charge no lawyers fees they just need as many people as possible to send the pics of their rusted frames so we can get this to become a recall. Toyota has kept it hush hush and it ain’t right

I loved my 4Runner! But after 14yrs the frame rusted out and I couldn’t sale it or drive it safely. I also have a 1995 Corolla that I still drive with no rust issues. Both were driven in the same weather conditions. Very upsetting

I bought my first Toyota (a Tacoma Double-Cab) two years ago. Other than routine maintenance, i never experienced a single problem. Had only bought GM vehicles previously. What a difference. plus, my Tacoma held its resale value better than anything I have ever owned. As for the 4-Runner, I have the base model with 4-Wheel drive, a Sunroof, 17" Wheels and a Rear Spoiler. Those were the options most important to me. I absolutely LOVE this vehicle. As others have said, the smoothness of the ride and the quiet interior will remind you of a big luxery auto. The steering is controlled but incredibly tight. Braking, handling, and basically every function is precise. Go get one - any trim level!

I love my 05 4runner. I'm looking to purchase a new one. Hoping the 2010 models are built as well as 2005. Only problem I had with 2005 was the moonroof quit around 58,000 miles, costs $2000 to repair, but just had them permanently close it. I will still buy one with moonroof--love the lighting. New brakes installed with 90K miles, new tires at 78K miles. NO issues whatsoever with this vehicle.
