This car is very fun to drive. Its speed and the way it handles corners can make me giggle. However, there are some significant issues and a lack of amenities. No Car Play - it is annoying. The fit and finish is flimsy and cheap. The plastic pieces feel and sound and fit like something in a much cheaper car. The ride is very rough. No built-in Homelink. And the very worst part the support of EM and DJT.

Speedy and fun but battery issues

Love to drive this car BUT had to replace battery (under warranty) and the replacement is not performing as well as the original battery did when new. Expecting this one to fail. Glad there is a good warranty. Also, you probably know this but electric cars are NOT for distance driving. For example, with new (good) battery I needed to stop at three super chargers between OK and CO adding about an hour to the trip. Very manageable and I was fine with it. NOW I have to stop FIVE times on the same trip adding approximately 120 minutes to the trip because the battery is not performing as it should. Yes, it is charging slower in addition to more stops. No, I have not changed my driving style. Not. Happy. Would I buy it again? Probably not.

It's new, but absolutely the most comfortable, amazing, beautiful vehicle I have ever personally owned. The FSD (even though you need to watch the road) is smooth as silk, competent and without any flaws that I could find. Integration with your phone is awesome, calling the car to pick you up in the rain is awesome. The seats are like sitting in a custom made lounge chair, it knows who is driving and makes all adjustments (including vents and fats and temps) to fit the driver. It's better than the Infinity Sedan We had by leaps and bounds as far as comfort and appointments. The acceleration is off the map, it's like riding an amusement park ride. With Dual motors and long range you can go up to 330 miles on a charge, so it's just as good or better than a gasoline vehicle. The charger with installation is another $1600, and you WILL need it, so plan on that. I also got the normal outlet charger to carry for emergencies. So far the only downfall I can find is getting a human being on the phone is not fun. Of course all of the shock and awe of going fully electric is over-blown and made us take another 2 months to finally push the button to go with it. No long trips yet, but actually looking forward to it now.

most modern car available. First car to be exciting in last 50 years, more so then previous Porsche 928, C6 Corvette, 1974 Rolls. Nothing to repair, or fluids to check and replace, really maintenance free .
