One more star for the car one less for service
It’s fast. Did I say it was fast. The car was clearly made in California. My Y had no option for heated steering. This is important with all touch screen access in Boston. Also, all wheel drive is not near as effective as my BMW. Slides everywhere. Miles per charge is far less than expected Service OMG. You cannot call them even as a last resort. You can get into a chat after you schedule an appointment but when will they answer. I have a recall and simply want to know how long to fix it and can get a car. Can’t get that info ahead of time. So frustrating just trying to flow through the app and figure this out Also, updates are way to frequent and sometimes change your screen around requiring you to re-learn where things are. It also occasionally goes to sleep. Complete black screen. Does anyone tell you what to do. Nope! Good luck look it up on-line and hope your not late for work Thank god this is a lease
Did not keep mine long
Bought a Model Y performance because I liked the idea of an EV. I hate the touch screen, it's too many steps just to turn on the air or change the radio, I hated trying to figure it out. Service was horrible, spoiler immediately started falling off and service keep moving 5the appointment back for months. Still wasn't fixed when I traded it. The glass roof made the car a heater, even after we tinted it. Just not a fan.

Great vehicle!
I never thought to consider a Tesla because of the cost. But after reading a total cost of ownership article, I changed my mind. Add me now to the list of believers. This thing is utterly amazing to drive. Where have I been all these years?

Awesome Car
The model Y is a great car. Benefits include no maintenance compared to a gasoline car. No oil changes, waterpumps, and hundreds of moving parts to have to worry about replacing all the time. If you're driving around town, you can't beat an EV. Of course longer trips take some planning to recharge but there are so many Tesla Superstations you sometimes don't know which one to go to. And it really isn't that bad. The Y is the perfect size giving you more room than a model 3. It's super comfortable but also really fast and sporty. Once you feel the power of an EV you'll see how archaic gas engines are. Don't believe all the bad news people try to tell you. Most don't have a clue and have an agenda to bash EVs or just jump on the band wagon. But of course if you live in freezing temps or have to commute long distances everyday, then you should still have another car which has a gasoline engine. But the Y is one of the best cars we've ever owned and we've had over 25 cars including BMWs, Porsches and everything else.

2021 Model Y Performance
I took delivery of the MY in June 2021 and have been very happy with the car. I did pay for FSD, which in hind sight I might not have but the tech on the car is amazing. It’s the funnest car I’ve ever owned, from the instant acceleration to the games and cinema features on board. I have not had any weird issues. I did pay to have it wrapped with stealth PPF and it looks great! I would recommend this car to my family and friends!
