Used 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Consumer Reviews
worst car i ever had
the car has so many issues that i regret buying it every single day: 1) very weak engine 2) random jerks at low speeds 3) usb works on and off 4) weird noises and rattles everywhere in the car 5) fuel consumption is terrible 6) subaru service is the worst and they will constantly downplay your complaints
Great car, often overlooked Brand
This makes my 2nd Subaru and I will probably own this brand regardless of model from now on. I've owned it for a while now with no problems, my opinion of Subaru has not changed.

Premium trim 2021
Bought a new 2021 Crosstrek Premium trim in August 2021. Would probably have gone for the Limited or Sport models but the dealership had no Crosstreks in stock and the vehicles that were coming in all were Premium trim so I went for it. I'm not sorry that I did. The less powerful engine in the Base and Premium models is not an issue to me. The acceleration seems just fine for my needs. I'm pleased with the 6 speed manual transmission..The car feels solid. There is little noise and the automatic climate control feature is a nice one. The gas mileage is a bit disappointing as I'm only getting about 27mpg combined city and highway. I got a good deal from my dealer despite vehicles going for over the MSRP. I am happy with my purchase

Great little car
This is my 3rd Subaru, 2nd Crosstrek. My new Crosstrek is the sport model with the 2.5 litre engine. It is full of pep and handles like a dream. I traded in my 2019 Forester, which was also a great car. I no longer needed a bigger car (husband now has a pickup). I think the Crosstrek handles great on corners and snowy, icy road conditions. Great pickup getting onto the interstate, and super easy to manuever in parking lots. It has plenty of room for my husband, myself and our dogs.

Got rid of it
I bought the base Crosstrek with Eyesight. Love the exterior styling. But the interior looks cheap and there's creaking noises around the dash and door trim. Paint chips easily. Update: engine sometimes will make a rattling noise under light acceleration at low speed (Like marble chips inside a soda can) I was told that it was a fuel problem, but after many stays at the dealership proved unsuccessful because "they couldn't replicate the noise", I traded it in for a CX-5 before the warranty expired.
