Thousands have complained about poor cooling airconditioning system some are making hacks by installing valves to shut hot water blend to airconditioning which lower the temperature with 8 -10 F, owners are desperate imagine that you need to hack you brand new truck to feel pleasant while driving when ambient temperature are over 90F defenders comes up with all kinds of excuses color of the truck sunroof or not..bla bla bla, the airconditioning shall and must be sized and designed to cool the cabin down to the lowest set temperature even if it is sunny blue sky and 110F, this is not a new problem in RAM trucks it goes back many generation, worstbof it all dealerships won't and can't do any permanent fix as The RAM Company gives a Sh... so if you're living in The Southern states of US and like trucks there can cool down the cabin then do not buy a RAM! 2020 RAM Ltd Black, Sunroof, V8 4 WD, RAM boxes. my truck option was not avaliable in the list of reviewed RAM's.

Engine not designed for towing

There are many things about the RAM 1500 Hemi that I like, however all of that is over shadowed by the fact that this engine has major problems with exhaust manifold bolts breaking. I was told it has to do with towing by the dealer and even RAM. We bought it to tow a small horse trailer and one horse, about half of the weight of the advertised towing capacity. I am now on my 3rd, yes third set of broken exhaust manifold bolts. First 2 were covered under warranty, now I have to pocket. RAM offered to pay half of the cost and told me this is a one time only offer, do not contact them if it happens again. They know there is an issue with these engines. I was told by the dealer the kit to fix it would take care of the problem, well it keeps happening. I would highly advise to look elsewhere or go for the diesel if you plan on hauling anything other than some 2x4's and mulch in the Hemi.

I bought a 2020 ram 1500 with 5000 miles on it in November 2020. No less than a week of ownership did I begin noticing things weren’t right with the truck. 1. Back window leaks when it rains (not kidding. Fiat can’t install a proper window) 2. Back up camera stays on even after I’ve shifted into drive and have traveled miles down the road. 3. Screeching brakes. I guess they’re just really bad quality from the factory. 4. Park sense system has thrown the e-brake on when backing up on flat surfaces with nothing behind me. NOTHING! 5. Clunking noise when coming to a stop. Sounds like it’s in the transmission area. 6. Have a constant whirling sound when coasting. Sounds like a the noise you get when you have a bad wheel bearing. 7. Cab not insulated enough to block common road noise. Sounds like the driveshaft wants to come through the floor when I hit a bump in the road. These trucks are junk. I love the infotainment system and the interior. The exterior refresh is also nice. Don’t let the features fool you like I was fooled. it’s still a cheap Chrysler product. Now that fiats been involved these things have taken a nose dive in quality.

I'm 6'2" tall and sat in all competitions, the Ram fits me like a glove. Seats are very comfortable and can drive a long way without any need to get out to stretch. Gas mileage is what is expected on a full size pick up truck. This is my 3rd Ram in 12 years. Keep on making them like this, and I will continue to be a repeat customer.

2020 Ram Classic - Boat Anchor!!!

3.6 L, rear-wheel drive, regular cab short box purchased new in the fall of 2020. Great looks, ride, and economy. Reliability, not so much. The truck now has 12,500 kms (only 7800 miles) on it. and it's in the shop again. Here's the repair list to date in order of failure: - Electrical issues - gauges twitch and dash lights up randomly when the truck is off - not yet repaired; - Grill repainted due to peeling; - A/C condenser failed; - radiator failed; - rear rotors replaced due to pitting and warping; - valve train failure requiring new lifters and rockers; - rear differential noise, new differential to be installed. The good news, everything has been covered by warranty with no resistance from the manufacturer. The bad news, my investment in a "new" truck is is now only as good as the last mechanic to work on it. The truck is incredibly unreliable and it's very inconvenient being without it while it's in the shop regularly. We don't have lemon laws in Canada, but we should for vehicles like this.
