Used 2020 Ram 1500 Consumer Reviews
Awesome Truck
Power, Power, Power is all I can say. The ride is the smoothest I’ve ever had in a truck. Love it.

2020 RAM 1500 Laramie Diesel
Had this truck for 5 years now, and never had any problems with it. Bought it brand new too. Maybe I got lucky, which feels like after reading all the other negative reviews here. I have put 36,500 miles on her, which is nothing for a diesel. Love this truck and everything that it came with. 12" Screen, Heated and cooled seats, 3-fold bed cover, the beige interior color. The only issue I had is I lost navigation from RAM about 2nd or 3rd year, and they requested an upgrade for couple hundred $ to a new one, but since I use google maps via Android, I didn't care for it. Overall she has been an excellent truck and I would recommend it.

1500 EcoDiesel - Competes w/ Audi as Daily Driver
Coming up on two years ownership with 11.5K miles. Simply put, this is a great truck and it is such a pleasure to drive. Highway mileage is exceptional and I average over 28 MPG on level freeway. It also tows my 8,000+ pound boat with ease. No maintenance problems. I highly recommend the Ram. (Previous) Purchased a 2020 Big Horn (4WD, EcoDiesel, Level 2 Package, LED lights) new, and have put just over 3500 miles on it. Originally intended to replace a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 with a new HD to tow a boat, but changed my mind after test driving the 1500 EcoDiesel. I was immediately taken in by the comfortable, roomy interior, the great sound system (Alpine speaker system), the overall build quality, and the quiet, comfortable and responsive ride. Simply put, I can live with this truck as a daily driver; and I often find myself leaving the Audi in the garage to drive the Ram. I am averaging 24.5 MPG (35/65% split city/highway). Equally important, the EcoDiesel produces more than enough torque to pull my boat with ease; although I feel the boat behind my truck more (due to comparative weights) than I did when towing with the 2500. No surprise there; and I think it's a good trade off given the truck's superb ride and the infrequent times that I'm actually towing. Interior storage is excellent; especially the center console and the in-floor compartments in the back. As a negative, the Big Horn dashboard/interior does have some hard plastic pieces that should be upgraded to match the rest of the interior. The Big Horn also has cloth seats, but the material quality is excellent. My paint quality is also very good. Overall, I am very satisfied. Buying experience was marginal; but it also occurred during the pandemic. No maintenance work as of yet; although I did purchase an extended warranty plan through Chrysler Capital.
